Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Verdiex is a software company based in Boca Raton, Florida. We build CMMC compliance software to help small defense contractors draft their System Security Plans, calculate their SPRS scores, and prepare for CMMC assessment. Questions about this policy can be sent to octavio@verdiex.net.

2. What we collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide and improve the service:

• Email addresses submitted through our early-access signup form and our free checklist download form. We use these to notify you about early access and to send the resource you requested.
• Standard server access logs maintained by our hosting provider (Netlify). These logs include IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited. They are used for security and performance purposes and are not used for behavioral advertising.

We do not currently collect account credentials, payment information, or any document content from visitors to the public website. When the paid product launches, additional data handling will be described in an updated version of this policy.

3. How we use your information

• To notify you when early access opens, if you signed up to be notified.
• To send the free resource you requested (such as the CMMC pre-assessment checklist).
• To respond to direct inquiries you send to us by email.
• To monitor and improve the security and performance of this site.

We do not sell your information to third parties. We do not use it for behavioral advertising.

4. Third-party service providers

We use a limited number of service providers to operate this site. These providers receive only the data necessary to perform their functions:

• Netlify (hosting and form processing) processes form submissions and serves this site. See Netlify's privacy policy at netlify.com.
• If we add an email delivery service, we will name it here before using it.

We do not use third-party advertising networks or behavioral tracking pixels on this site at this time.

5. Cookies and tracking

This site currently uses only the minimal cookies required by our hosting infrastructure (Netlify). We do not place third-party advertising or analytics cookies. If we add analytics tools in the future, we will update this policy and, where required by law, obtain your consent.

6. Data retention

We retain email addresses submitted through our forms until you request deletion or for 24 months of inactivity, whichever comes first. Server logs are retained according to Netlify's standard retention schedule.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, email octavio@verdiex.net with "Privacy Request" in the subject line. We will respond within a reasonable time.

8. Children

This service is not directed at individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. This site is served over HTTPS. Form data is processed by Netlify using encrypted transmission. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our practices evolve or as required by law. When we do, we will post the updated policy here with a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated directly to users who have provided an email address when possible.
